Compensation & Benefits Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage compensation and benefit projects including; job leveling, titles/codes, annual benchmarking, salary structure, statutory wage planning, performance bonus design and review
• Set up and manage data gathering and analysis related to total rewards including developing relationships required to maintain up to date, relevant benchmarking (may include competitors, Dehong Schools, market researchers and consulting service providers)
• Continuously review total rewards across all entities and staff categories, making recommendations appropriate for the Dehong strategy, employee value proposition and school/divisional requirements
• Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation, relocation and immigration policies, guidelines and procedures 
• Evaluate and audit positions in the Division HQ and across the Schools to ensure consistency and equity among all levels, as well as competitive pay levels with the relevant external market 
• Ensure company compensation and benefits programs and policies comply with all relevant government regulations, laws, employment standards 
• Manage centralized payroll process and drive payroll continuous automation programs

Requirements:

•A degree in a relevant discipline, with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in the management of compensation & benefits
•Experience of creating and implementing HR and C&B benefits, policies including managing the change 
•Demonstrated ability to interpret competitive market data and development of associated C&B strategies
•Experience of international compensation and remuneration policies
•Experience of carrying out salary reviews and job evaluations. (Understanding of the Mercer methodology is an advantage) 
•Analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities 
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•Good working knowledge of SAP success-factors system and HR databases 
•Experience in education industry is a plus
