Ms. Martin holds a Master’s degree from King’s College London and the UK’s National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH). She brings nearly twenty years of experience in international education, having worked across the UK, the Middle East, and China. Before moving to China, Ms. Martin spent ten years working in London, where she served as a Deputy Head at schools within the Harris Federation. She later joined Dulwich International High School Suzhou as Deputy Head (Academic). In this role, she was responsible for the school’s academic development, including curriculum planning, assessment, and the quality of teaching and learning, gaining extensive experience in leading international education within the Chinese context.

Louise is committed to an “ambitious-for-all” approach to education, creating an environment where every student can access high standards of education and pursue a personalised pathway for growth. During the secondary years, she aims to strengthen students’ cognitive abilities and practical skills, preparing them for university applications, higher education, and the complex challenges of the real world. She seeks to balance academic rigour with compassionate support, and views high-quality teaching, teacher professional development, collaborative leadership, and clear communication as foundations for sustainable school improvement.
