Ms. Coco Fan holds a Bachelor's degree in English Education from Jiangsu Education Institute, a Master's degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from East China Normal University, and a Master's degree in International Leadership and Change from The Education University of Hong Kong. Additionally, she possesses a teaching qualification certificate from the Hong Kong Education Bureau, a PRC teaching certificate for middle school Chinese teachers, and a TESOL certificate.
In the field of education, Coco has held significant positions at various international schools, accumulating rich management experience. She is currently the Head of Primary and Director of Teaching and Learning at Wuxi Nanwai King‘s College, where she oversees the school’s daily operations, manages logistics and budgets, sets learning goals for students and teachers, monitors teacher performance, and ensures continuity and progression in teaching and learning. She has also established a Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning to foster professional growth through workshops and conferences. Ms. Fan has previously served as the Principal of the I-EP at The Affiliated Foreign Language School of SCNU, Chinese teacher at ESF Discovery College, and MYP Coordinator, Head of Language Department at Wuxi Taihu International School.
Coco has served in several roles within the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), such as IB School Consultant and Program Leader, IB MYP reader, workshop leader, and school visiting team member/leader. She has made significant contributions to teacher training, program evaluation, and school accreditation. Under her leadership, schools have successfully implemented international education programs, enhanced teaching quality, and provided students with a wealth of learning opportunities.
